DEPARTMENT OF NEPHROLOGY Haemo-Dialysis Department |
Since 13th
March 2006, Haemo-Dialysis Department, was started with Two Dialysis
Machines, the department has shown impressive progress. Today we have Five
(5) Dialysis Machines with state-of-art facilities and experienced staffs.
Our Nephrology Department is running under the able supervision of Dr.
Deepak Tamakuwala(Nephrologist), and is assisted by Dr Jayesh Patel (MD). On 14th November 2010, Alipore Hospital & Research Centre’s Department of Nephrology completed 10,000 cycles of Haemo-Dialysis Procedures. It is to be noted that Haemo-Dialysis patients are given special reliefs with subsidized rates. The cost of One Dialysis Procedure is Rs. 750/- which is subsidized by Alipore Social Welfare Trust, hence for one Heamo-Dialysis Procedure, the fees collected from the patients is Rs. 300/-. At Alipore Hospital, we have schemes for poor and needy patients where some patients do benefit with Absolutely Free Dialysis Services, our sincere thanks to our generous Donors. Assuming Rs. 400/- Relief given per Haemo-Dialysis Procedure, on completion of 10000 Haemo- Dialysis Procedures, we at Alipore Hospital have given Rupees Four Million (4,000,000/-) to our patients, apart from other reliefs like Medicines, Pathology and Dialysis Accessories. |

| Medical Store (Pharmacy) | The nearest Chemist is about 5 kms. away, hence, to facilitate the patients, ASWT has started a Medical Store, from 1st of November, 2001, which is named ‘ALIPORE HOSPITAL MEDICAL STORE’ at the hospital campus. | |
