Since 4th June 2001, the day the medical services were introduced in the Hospital Campus we have never looked back. We have always gone for innovation and always tried our best to provide as many facilities in the hospital by the way of Machineries, Surgical Equipments, Hospital Furnitures, and all other medical-oriented facilities.

We started this hospital with just 15 beds which was gradually expanded to 50 beds. We have almost full capacity utilisation and shall require more rooms and facilities hence we are planning for expansion on the top floor.

Right now we are using ground floor and first floor for patients use and second floor for residential quarters for Doctors, nurses and staffs. Now that there is a need for one more floor, we plan to change residential quarters into ward rooms and build a third floor for residential quarters for Doctors, Nurses and staffs.

You shall find details of expansion plan on the third floor and also the structures required in the Campus along with Compound Wall, Prayer Room, Canteen, Quarters and Medical Store.

It was earlier planned that the second floor will be converted into wards (when required) till then they must be used as staff quarters and hence the residential quarters were built in such a way that they can be easily converted into ward rooms without major cost. Now that we have capacity utilisation at Alipore Hospital and many a times we have to squeeze through to facilitate our patients we plan for expansion at our hospital building itself and also for enough facilities in various departments.

The works on the third floor and also in the campus are in progress. The work at the campus of some structures are near completion and around the month of September, we shall be introducing the services like Spiral C T Scan Centre, Blood Bank Distribution Centre, Prayer Hall, Canteen, Medical Store and Morgue one after the another.
